Understanding how the Audio is Routed

Understanding how the audio signal ﬁnds its way back and forth between a RAD and the host Mongoose

is fairly straightforward. It’s literally a direct connection. But where does it go from there and how do you

control it?

Depending on your audio system, there are several options for routing a RAD audio signal. You can send

the signal to one or more of the following:

• Another RAD connected to the same Mongoose

• Another RAD connected to a diﬀerent Mongoose

• Another CobraNet-enabled device (for example, a DSP device)
